Credit Information Corporation (CIC)

Project Description

The Credit Information Corporation (CIC) is a government-owned and controlled corporation under the Department of Finance of the Philippines, and the country’s sole public credit registry. Established in 2008 through the Credit Information System Act (Republic Act No. 9510), CIC is mandated to develop and operate a centralized, comprehensive credit information system — collecting and disseminating accurate credit data to financial institutions, lenders, businesses, and individual borrowers across the nation. As a critical pillar of the Philippine financial ecosystem, CIC’s digital presence must reflect the highest standards of reliability, security, and public accessibility.

What iBuild.PH Did

This project was carried out through an outsourced and collaborative engagement between iBuild.PH and a reputable IT solutions company based in the Philippines and operating on a global scale — bringing together local expertise and world-class standards to deliver a government-grade web solution.

The CIC website was built using WordPress, providing a robust and manageable content platform suited for a high-traffic national government institution. The website serves as the official public-facing resource of CIC, where financial institutions, submitting and accessing entities, and individual borrowers can stay informed on credit-related programs, circulars, advisories, press releases, and educational materials.

iBuild.PH contributed to the web design and development, website maintenance and support of the CIC website – ensuring it meets the professional image, functionality, and security requirements expected of a national financial institution. With ongoing website maintenance and support, the CIC website remains consistently updated, fully functional, and reliably accessible to all its stakeholders across the Philippines.
