iBuild.PH joins July 2025 WordPress Meetup at BGC, Taguig, Philippines
Jerome Esperanza to share insights on building government websites with WordPress
iBuild.PH is proud to support the upcoming Manila WordPress Meetup on Saturday, July 12, 2025, to be held at YSPACES in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig City. This event is officially organized by the WordPress Philippines Community, a volunteer-led group recognized under the global WordPress.org open-source initiative.
Our very own Jerome Esperanza, founder and lead consultant of iBuild.PH, will be the featured speaker for the meetup. His session, titled “Building WordPress Websites for the PH Government: Gotchas, Aha Moments, Lessons, Best Practices, Implementations, and Strategies,” will offer valuable insights gained from years of experience web designing, web development, and maintaining websites for various Philippine government agencies.
This talk is part of the meetup’s broader theme: “Building with WordPress: From Ideas to Impact.”
A sharing of real-world experience
Jerome’s presentation will walk participants through key takeaways and practical lessons from actual WordPress implementations in the public sector. Topics will include content management workflows, accessibility and compliance, dealing with procurement and policy constraints, working with non-technical teams, and ensuring security and performance.
This is especially relevant for developers, digital agencies, and freelancers looking to serve the public sector or improve how they approach large-scale or high-accountability WordPress projects.
Presentations and discussions will be conducted in a mix of English and Tagalog to accommodate a wide range of participants, including international attendees and local community members.
