i-Build.PH participates in ASLP’s webinar “Web Accessibility and SEO: A Webinar Workshop for Librarians and Information Professionals”

Last May 21, iBuild.PH Web Solutions and Services participated in a webinar entitled “Web Accessibility and Search Engine Optimization – A Webinar Workshop for Librarians and Information Professionals” organized and hosted by the Association of Special Libraries of the Philippines (ASLP).
iBuild.PH’s own Jerome Esperanza discussed the SEO topics in a practical and relevant manner beneficial to online libraries and similar information centers and institutions. The search optimization strategies discussed will help librarians and information specialists promote their respective online libraries digitally and ensure these are optimized and visible in major search engines such as Google search.
The webinar also covered a very interesting topic – Web Accessibility as essential standards for any online resource, websites, and digital assets to be keyboard and online-accessible, especially for visually challenged website users and visitors. The accessibility topic had been capably presented and discussed by co-speaker Julius Serrano, an Accessibility Specialist based in New Zealand.
The webinar was attended by both active ASLP members and non-members. You may learn more about ASLP and the SEO and web accessibility webinar from the official ASLP website.
