iBuild.PH conducts seminar and introduces Drupal to college students and IT staff of Ateneo de Zamboanga University (ADZU), Zamboanga City, Philippines
On December 18, 2023, iBuild.PH and Jerome Esperanza conducted a seminar on the topic of Drupal. It was well attended by IT, CS, and computer engineering students from the Ateneo de Zamboanga University (ADZU), IT faculty and staff, and other college students from invited schools.
This was organized and sponsored by the Center for Information and Technology Services (CITS) and was held at the College Computer Laboratory, Salvador Campus, under the auspices of the kind Engr. Eugene Kanindot, director of the Center for Information and Technology Services (CITS).
During the seminar, it was discussed that users can create, manage, and present different content types effectively and efficiently for their websites with Drupal, a free and open-source content management system (CMS). Without requiring in-depth technical knowledge, it offers a powerful platform for building and managing a variety of websites, from small personal blogs to big business sites. It also offers a user-friendly interface for content creation and management, along with a versatile and adaptable foundation for building and managing digital content.
The training conducted a practical and hands-on demonstration for beginners on building websites and apps and other topics like installing and configuring Drupal, producing content, controlling users and permissions, and utilizing themes and modules to alter a site's appearance and feel.
