As part of our continuous efforts to enhance the speed, reliability, and overall performance of our web hosting services, iBuild.PH will conduct a scheduled server migration and hosting platform upgrade in April 2025.

These infrastructure improvements are designed to provide a better hosting experience for all clients and ensure our systems are optimized for future needs.

We will email and contact you as a valued client on the migration activity and schedule.

While normally, you do not need to do anything as the hostnames and IP addresses will be updated automatically in your account, there may be instances where your technical or IT team will need to be notified to coordinate any reflected changes on your internal system or online configurations should there be any needed.

What to Expect

Migration Timeline:
The migration will take place in phases throughout April 2025. Each affected client will be notified in advance and again once their migration schedules. 

Early Migration Requests:
If you wish to move your account earlier than the scheduled window, you may request to do so by reaching out to our support team. Contact numbers and email addresses are provided below.

DNS and Domain Management

Clients using iBuild.PH's managed DNS will have their DNS settings updated automatically. No action is required.

Clients managing their own DNS will need to manually update their domain’s DNS records (such as A records) after the migration. Our team will provide the necessary information and guidance when needed.

The migration will reflect new changes and values in the following:

Hostname: e.g. xxxxx.websitehostserver.net 
IP Address: IP: xx.xxx.xx.x

Email Configuration

If your email client is set up using your domain (e.g., mail.yourdomain.com), it will continue to work without changes.

If your settings use a server-specific hostname, you may need to update your configuration once the migration is complete. For long-term ease of use, we recommend configuring your email to use your domain’s mail settings.

Monitoring DNS Propagation

After the migration, you can track DNS updates and propagation using tools like WhatsMyDNS.net. You can monitor when the new IP addresses if already propagated. We will notify you once your migration is completed so you can begin monitoring if needed.
